Using the service

The service detects meetings where notetaker@sso.aldous.io is invited and starts the August notetaker for eligible meetings. You are responsible for making sure your use of the service is lawful, authorised by your organisation and appropriate for the meetings where it is used.

Authorised users

You may use the service only if you have permission to connect the relevant calendar, invite the bot and process the meeting information involved. You must not use the service to access calendars, meetings or data you are not authorised to use.

Acceptable use

• Do not use the service for unlawful, harmful, deceptive or abusive activity.
• Do not interfere with, overload, reverse engineer or attempt to compromise the service.
• Do not use the service to record or process meetings without any required consent or notice.

Availability and changes

We aim to provide a reliable service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may change, suspend or withdraw the service where needed for maintenance, security, legal or operational reasons.

No warranties

The service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties, conditions and representations.

Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, Aldous Works Limited will not be liable for indirect, consequential or special losses, loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of goodwill, or loss or corruption of data arising from use of the service.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
